Dyer is a ghost town in Douglas County, Washington.

History Edit

The community was an agricultural hub, but slowly faded as roads improved and people could drive to other locations for goods. Today all that is left is farms, abandoned homesteads, and many old relics.

Geography Edit

The latitude is 47.978 and longitude is -119.771. The elevation of Dyer is 2,733 feet above sea level. Brewster is located north of Dyer, while Bridgeport is to the northeast. To the south is Mansfield and Withrow.

Climate Edit

Dyer has dry to hot summers with cold winters. Often there is snow.
