History[]

Penewawa was a small town before it was flooded by Little Goose Dam. The town had a church, general store, some silos, orchards, and a handful of families. The people were ordered to leave when the dam was constructed as it would be flooded. Today nothing remains of the town, but some residences are scattered around the area.
